Job Description

Investment Research & Portfolio Support Conduct research and due diligence on alternative investments, ETFs, mutual funds, and public market strategies Support portfolio construction, asset allocation, and manager selection Monitor investments and maintain organized research documentation Attend investment calls and write internal and external communications based on AI summaries Help update the Regatta Monthly Resource Guide and Real Estate Fact Sheets Maintain our Venture Capital Fund I master data table and conduct periodic due diligence on current and proposed portfolio companies As the analyst progresses, they will become involved with real estate distribution reconciliations and annual valuations Market Commentary & Investment Communication Contribute to written market and economic commentary Assist in preparing client presentations, portfolio reports, and investment updates Participate in internal investment committee discussions Client Interaction Attend select client meetings with advisors and investment leadership Help explain portfolio positioning and investment strategy to clients Investment Data & Systems Maintain and improve investment research databases and documentation Help develop better workflows for data management and research processes
Qualifications:
Must have CFA Level II or higher; CFA charterholder preferred MBA or strong academic background in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field 1-10 years of experience in investment research, asset management, institutional investing, or wealth management Strong analytical, quantitative, and written communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects Genuinely collaborative - this is a small team where everyone's contribution is visible Nice to have Experience with alternative investments or manager due diligence Data management or investment systems expertise Curiosity about AI tools, automation, or systems integration in the investment process
