GENERAL SUMMARY
Kinecta is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst, Liquidity & Balance Sheet Analytics, to serve as a senior individual contributor within the Treasury function, with emphasis on liquidity and funds management, deposit and balance sheet analytics, asset-liability management (ALM), interest rate risk (IRR), investment and collateral reporting, and recurring executive and committee reporting. This role combines financial institution treasury knowledge with quantitative and data analytics capabilities, including Python, SQL, Excel/Power Query, and business intelligence tools, to build controlled, repeatable reporting and decision-support models. This position will own assigned analytical workstreams, prepare and enhance daily, monthly, and quarterly Treasury deliverables, support Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) and Finance Committee materials, and translate complex data into practical recommendations for Treasury leadership, Finance, Risk Analytics, Product/Deposit, Business Intelligence, and executive stakeholders. The role is intended to increase Treasury capacity, analytical depth, operational resilience, cross-training, and the ability to support Kinecta's balance sheet growth and risk management objectives.
NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
This position reports to the Treasury Management Director / Treasurer and works closely with Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Risk Analytics, Capital Markets, Deposit/Product, Business Intelligence, Operations, Retail, Marketing, and approved external providers. The position works with a minimal amount of supervision and direction and is authorized to take reasonable actions necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities of the position, provided that such action is consistent with cost-effective practices and the policies and procedures of Kinecta. This position is expected to independently lead assigned analytical workstreams, identify and investigate data or policy exceptions, recommend process improvements, and escalate matters requiring management review. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, intellectual curiosity, and judgment, as well as the ability to convert large and complex data sets into clear treasury insights, committee-ready reporting, and actionable recommendations. .
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will be expected to take the lead on assigned projects, coordinate the work of others contributing to assigned projects or recurring Treasury deliverables, and serve as a technical resource for analysts, rotational associates, and cross-functional partners supporting Treasury initiatives. The position may provide peer review, training, and quality control support for assigned reporting, models, dashboards, and analytical workstreams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Liquidity, Cash & Funds Management Support daily liquidity monitoring, cash position reporting, balance sheet change reporting, funding and borrowing activity, and compliance with liquidity policy limits and internal escalation requirements. Develop, maintain, and improve cash flow forecasts, sources and uses reports, liquidity stress testing support, forecast back-testing processes, and recurring liquidity dashboards. Lead analytical support for vault cash optimization, cash flow forecasting, collateral and borrowing capacity, and funding alternatives such as Federal Home Loan Bank advances, Federal Reserve access, Catalyst, Central Liquidity Facility, repurchase agreements, reciprocal deposits/IntraFi, and other approved liquidity sources. Monitor wholesale funding and counterparty readiness and support documentation, testing, reporting, and control routines needed for ongoing operational preparedness. Prepare monthly and quarterly liquidity reporting, management commentary, and supporting analysis for ALCO, Finance Committee, senior management, and other stakeholders. Research funding strategies based on market rates, liquidity needs, forecast assumptions, budget assumptions, cost of funds, collateral availability, and ALM implications. Support Liquidity Contingency Funding Plan monitoring, early warning indicators, liquidity trigger reporting, and contingency action planning. Deposit Pricing & Balance Sheet Analytics Lead deposit inflow and outflow analytics, member funds-flow dashboards, attrition and retention analysis, new money tracking, balance migration analysis, Share Certificate maturity and rollover analytics, and deposit decay and concentration monitoring. Evaluate product pricing strategies, promotional offerings, rate exceptions, and funding mix decisions, including impacts to liquidity, margin, cost of funds, net interest income, and budget assumptions. Partner with Deposit/Product, Retail, Marketing, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Business Intelligence to identify drivers of deposit growth, runoff, cannibalization, and member behavior, and convert findings into actionable recommendations. Use Power Query, Python and/or SQL to ingest, clean, reconcile, and analyze large deposit, transaction, and balance sheet data sets, including internal transfer identification, data anomaly research, and automated reporting logic. Build and maintain controlled dashboards and models that monitor product performance, pricing sensitivity, large-balance activity, funding concentration, and liquidity implications. Support sound Finance principles and practices for competitive deposit pricing, targeted product growth, member retention, and balance sheet strategy. Asset-Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk & Capital Planning Support Support monthly and quarterly ALM and IRR reporting, including model inputs, assumption support, forecast data, results validation, policy limit monitoring, and executive summaries. Assist with net interest income (NII), Net Economic Value (NEV), scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, non-maturity deposit assumptions, prepayment assumptions, and what-if analyses. Partner with Risk Analytics and third-party ALM providers to maintain model data integrity, review results, and analyze the effect of market rate changes, deposit behavior, loan trends, and product mix changes. Support capital planning, stress testing, and balance sheet forecast analytics, particularly as Kinecta prepares for continued growth, increased complexity, and evolving reporting expectations. Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, data sources, report logic, process controls, and model or reporting changes. Investment, Funding & Collateral Reporting Support investment portfolio reporting, performance analytics, market trend monitoring, fixed income analytics, counterparty due diligence, safekeeping and custody documentation, and compliance with investment policies. Monitor pledged collateral, borrowing availability, unencumbered liquidity, counterparty limits, wholesale funding options, and approved liquidity alternatives. Analyze short-term investment, repurchase agreement, broker-dealer, and other balance sheet strategies that support liquidity, income, and risk management objectives. Assist with derivative and hedging-related reporting and collateral analysis when applicable, including monthly reporting, hedge effectiveness support, fair value analysis, policy compliance, and ALCO materials. Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis on liquidity, investments, funding costs, market rates, and balance sheet risks. Reporting, Automation & Quantitative Modeling Build, maintain, and enhance production-quality Python scripts, SQL queries, Excel models, Power Query tools, and business intelligence dashboards used in recurring Treasury reporting and ad hoc analysis. Develop forecasting, regression, time-series, scenario, and sensitivity models to support cash flow forecasting, deposit runoff and retention analysis, vault cash optimization, liquidity stress testing, balance sheet forecasting, and ALM assumptions. Establish data quality controls, exception reports, reconciliations, version-control practices, documentation, and change logs for models, reports, dashboards, and data workflows. Convert large, complex, and sometimes inconsistent datasets into reliable reporting outputs and concise management-level narratives. Translate complex analyses into clear takeaways for Treasury leadership, ALCO, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Risk Analytics, Capital Markets, Product/Deposit, and senior management. Maintain working knowledge of industry data, market rates, liquidity trends, regulatory expectations, and balance sheet developments that affect Treasury decision-making. Treasury Operations, Controls & Governance Prepare, review, and enhance recurring Treasury deliverables in accordance with internal policies, Finance Committee requirements, ALCO timelines, and audit or regulatory expectations. Monitor risk indicators, policy limits, exceptions, and escalation thresholds for liquidity, ALM/IRR, investments, funding, and related Treasury processes. Support internal and external audit requests, regulatory examinations, policy and procedure updates, management responses, and evidence retention. Maintain comprehensive procedures, report inventories, data definitions, process maps, model documentation, and control documentation for assigned responsibilities. Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy, timeliness, automation, redundancy, cross-training, and overall control effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Development Partner across Finance, Accounting, Risk Analytics, Capital Markets, Business Intelligence, Product/Deposit, Retail, Marketing, Operations, and approved external providers to support Treasury deliverables and strategic projects. Serve as a technical and analytical resource for Treasury analysts, rotational associates, and cross-functional partners supporting Treasury deliverables and projects. Assist Treasury leadership with building repeatable operating procedures, cross-training materials, reporting calendars, and quality control routines for recurring Treasury responsibilities. Help distinguish recurring production tasks, senior analytical ownership responsibilities, and future analyst career pathing needs within the Treasury function. Support a culture of operational excellence, intellectual curiosity, strong controls, and continuous improvement across Treasury reporting and analytics. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of financial institution treasury, liquidity risk management, cash management, asset-liability management, interest rate risk, balance sheet management, deposit pricing, investments, wholesale funding, fixed income markets, and market rate dynamics. Advanced Python and SQL skills required, including the ability to write, review, maintain, and document scripts and queries for data extraction, transformation, automation, validation, forecasting, and recurring reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including financial modeling, pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data validation, and controlled reporting; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools preferred. Strong quantitative, financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and data visualization skills. Ability to work with large data sets, reconcile information across source systems, identify anomalies, research root causes, and develop controlled reporting processes. Knowledge of credit union or banking regulations, liquidity risk management expectations, deposit products, Share Certificates, borrowing facilities, collateral management, audit expectations, and regulatory examination support preferred. Ability to interpret market rates, economic indicators, liquidity data, balance sheet trends, deposit behavior, and funding strategy alternatives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex financial, technical, and risk concepts for management, committee, and cross-functional audiences. Strong judgment, attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities under changing timelines. Collaborative, intellectually curious, process-minded, and comfortable improving processes in a lean team environment.
Education, Training and Experience:
Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree, relevant graduate coursework, or professional certification preferred. 3+ years of relevant professional-level experience required, preferably with financial institution treasury, balance sheet management, ALM/IRR, liquidity risk, deposit pricing, investment reporting, capital markets, risk analytics, model validation, Financial Planning & Analysis, or data analytics responsibilities. 5+ years of relevant experience preferred; candidates with 3+ years of experience may be considered if they demonstrate advanced quantitative, technical, financial institution, or Treasury-related ownership. Demonstrated hands-on experience using Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, automation, validation, forecasting, or recurring reporting required. Experience in financial services, banking, credit union, or other regulated depository environments strongly preferred. Experience with cash flow forecasting, deposit analytics, vault cash modeling, ALM models, interest rate risk reporting, Share Certificate pricing, investment portfolio reporting, fixed income analytics, derivatives, hedge reporting, collateral management, model validation, or regulatory/audit support preferred. Completion or pursuit of a professional certification program, such as CFA, FRM, CTP, or a related credential, preferred. One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
WORKING CONDITIONS
: The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. The job may require flexibility with regards to scheduling days, hours, and work location, depending on business needs. The job is typically sedentary but may require standing and walking up to 35% of the work time to transfer files, ask questions, and related activities.
