As a CDD Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Unit and Commercial organization by driving pricing excellence, optimizing margins, and ensuring strong financial governance across global markets. This role partners closely with commercial, marketing, contracting, and operations teams to enable profitable growth, ensure pricing compliance, and deliver actionable insights.
Location Requirement:
This position is on-site at our Fremont, CA (46500 Kato Road - Microgenics) location. Candidates must be able to work on-site daily. Relocation assistance is not available at this time. Key Responsibilities Business Partnering & Commercial Support Partner with North America Commercial teams to analyze and influence revenue, gross margin, distributor pricing, and concession strategies Conduct pricing and margin analysis for Corporate and GPO accounts (e.g., Vizient, Premier), including spend reporting Support global pricing initiatives for quotes, tenders, bids, and business cases across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC Collaborate with Lifecycle Management (LCM) and global stakeholders on pricing strategies Provide financial support for complex deals, renewals, and large instrument-related contracts Support distributor approval processes across global regions Pricing & Financial Analysis Maintain and update pricing structures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness Execute pricing uploads, contract updates, and amendments in ERP systems (QAD) Analyze financial impact of pricing strategies, including annual price increases Develop intercompany transfer pricing models Deliver data-driven insights on margin performance and pricing effectiveness Contracting & Operational Collaboration Review and approve quotes in alignment with the Approved Authority Matrix (AAM) Partner with contracting teams to structure agreements and review non-standard contracts Support pricing tools (e.g., CDPM), including enhancements, testing, and issue resolution Coordinate contract review processes across regions Assist with system updates related to pricing, freight logic, and ERP enhancements Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with Customer Service, IT, Credit, and Finance teams to resolve pricing, invoicing, and system issues Ensure data integrity across systems (QAD, Cognos) Support audit requests and maintain proper documentation for compliance Contribute to system improvements, data governance, and process optimization initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, pricing, or financial analysis Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Experience with ERP systems (QAD, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare industry preferred Familiarity with pricing and contract management tools Exposure to global business environments Additional Information Travel requirements: less than 10% (domestic and international) Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00-$168,750.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
