Job Summary As our Finance Coordinator, you keep The Lab's team accountable and profitable. The key function of the Finance Coordinator is to track expenditures of our Project and Shop Managers who handle numerous jobs at any given time. The orders, purchases and invoices are significant and it's critical for our Finance Coordinator to efficiently and effectively manage all charges made utilizing our coding system. You aid the Projects by keeping the budgets as up to date as possible and aid the implementation of our budget close out system. You are expected to know how to communicate and assist the team at a fast pace, under pressure and think on your feet. It's even more important for you to support all team members, especially when they are on-site by keeping up to date with charges as well as helping with hour tracking for budgets. This industry requires excellent attention to detail. Each project is unique and should be approached with the idea that it is just as important as the last and the next. We expect each member of our team to push themselves to improve their abilities and quality of work on a daily basis. The individual filling this role must be versatile and able to work collaboratively with multiple departments. You are responsible for ensuring all tasks assigned are being performed within the standards set forth by The Lab. Individuals are also responsible for maintaining their daily duties in or out of the office. We are a functioning shop where peer to peer communication is critical. See something. Say something. Key Responsibilities:

Coding grids - daily updates to all credit cards Receipt tracking and coding Budget closeouts (implement a system that works efficiently for Project Managers and Accounting.) Accounts Receivable -Invoicing clients,keeping clients on track with current invoices,following up on past due invoices Assist with A/P as needed. Time tracking of all staff for weekly payroll preparation Ordering supplies for the shop and office Other assignments as needed Job Qualifications Prior experience in accounting/bookkeeping Proficiency in Quickbooks Attention to detail Good organizational skills Excellent communication skills Join us if you thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to make a meaningful impact through meticulous financial management and proactive collaboration.
