Job Description Adventist Health Glendale is looking for Financial Analyst for Full-time, Day Shift. We are looking for great individual who can work onsite to our location in Glendale, CA Located in the metropolitan area of Sacramento, the Adventist Health corporate headquarters have been based in Roseville, California, for more than 40 years. Job Summary:
Supports System ambulatory financial strategy and optimization. Conducts ongoing consolidated performance reporting and variance analysis, and recommends solutions to address variances. Works collaboratively with leadership, business partners and other corporate functions to ensure annual operating plans are aligned and reflect the overall System goals.Job Requirements:

Performs month-end actual to budget/forecast variance analysis. Prepares analysis/presentation of reports/statistics including charts, tables, or other exhibits as requested. Ensures use of standard tools, templates and methodologies for financial analysis. Monitors general ledger activity for accounting compliance. Investigates, identifies, and reports to management any inconsistencies. Prioritizes daily activities to complete tasks/projects assigned by others. Prepares standard/routine financial management reports for the system, as dictated by reporting inventory. Performs system level audits of financial information. Applies working knowledge of the techniques, principles, theories and concepts of the discipline, staff, technologies, services, and practices to complete routine and non-routine assignments. Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services. Supports and contributes to development of new products, services or techniques. Ensures use of standard tools, templates and methodologies for financial analysis. Solves and escalates operational problems and technical issues; modifies existing tools or processes. Reviews and provides insight into ambulatory operating budgets, including the analysis of prior year budgets/actuals and calculation of budget assumptions. Monitors budget throughout the year. Works on activities of moderate to diverse scope and makes recommendations to management on areas of opportunity and efficiency. Works under general supervision.
