Job Description
Investment Analyst Introduction The Investment Analyst position is a key role within the Integrated Grid Planning (IGP) organization, focusing on supporting the development of optimized, multi-year electric investment plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital planning, financial analysis, and investment decision support, with the ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear insights for leadership. Responsibilities Conduct portfolio-level analysis to evaluate financial tradeoffs Support the development of optimized, multi-year electric investment plans Translate analytical outputs into decision-ready insights for leadership Work with large, complex datasets to inform financial and planning decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, and Planning Requirements Required Skills Experience with capital planning and enterprise systems (SAP preferred; exposure to Copperleaf, Foundry, or similar tools a plus) Strong Excel and Power BI skills for modeling, analysis, and reporting Ability to work with multi-year investment planning and scenario analysis Strong understanding of financial structures and investment tradeoffs Preferred Skills Portfolio Optimization Analytical Skills Asset Management Executive Decision-making Investments Portfolio Management Microsoft Power BI Investment Capital
