Job Description The Financial Grant Analyst will support complex financial, budget, policy, data, and resource-related projects. This person will research and analyze information, develop recommendations and solutions, and work directly with managers and stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to independently manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct complex budget and financial analysisSupport data, systems, resource, and policy-related projectsResearch and analyze regulations, legislation, policies, and industry informationEvaluate the potential impact of policies and regulations on programs or initiativesResearch and summarize industry best practicesDevelop recommendations and solutions based on research and analysisDevelop scopes of work, budgets, and project reportsSupport strategic planning and organizational initiativesParticipate in planning committees, projects, and working groupsConduct post-implementation analysis to identify potential improvements or process changesWork directly with managers and other stakeholders on complex projectsHandle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality Skills and Requirements Strong financial and budget analysis skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience researching, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of dataAbility to turn research and data into clear reports, proposals, or recommendationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and demanding deadlinesStrong research skillsKnowledge of policy analysis techniquesExperience developing budgets, reports, and scopes of workProficiency with common business and data-related computer applicationsAbility to exercise discretion and maintain confidentialityBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/trainingExperience with grant-funded programs or projectsExperience supporting complex financial or resource-planning initiativesExperience researching regulations, legislation, or organizational policiesExperience developing or improving processes and policiesExperience conducting post-implementation analysisExperience supporting strategic planning initiativesExperience participating in cross-functional committees or working groupsExperience in a large, complex institutional environment We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
