Job Description

Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a growing, complex manufacturing and project‑based organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to serve as a financial partner to Program and Project Managers. This role operates at the program level—similar to a "mini‑controller"—supporting active programs across engineering, manufacturing, and R& D environments. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong cost accounting, contract, and program finance experience who enjoys partnering cross‑functionally and driving financial visibility at the project level. Key Responsibilities + Act as the primary finance partner for assigned programs and projects + Prepare quarterly profit and cash reporting at the program level + Track, analyze, and forecast program costs, margins, and cash flow + Manage invoicing and milestone billing; partner with AR for collections + Perform variance analysis, estimates‑to‑complete (ETC), and estimates‑at‑completion (EAC) + Support revenue recognition activities with working knowledge of ASC 606 + Assist with audits (internal, external, and government, as applicable) + Prepare monthly program financial packages and ad‑hoc analysis + Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Contracts, and Operations teams Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field + 4+ years of experience in program finance, cost accounting, or project‑based financial analysis + Manufacturing, government contracting, or defense‑related experience strongly preferred + Strong understanding of cost reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis + Exposure to earned value management (EVM/EVMS) a plus + Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience required Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
