Job Description

Description We are looking for a strategic Lead Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance analysis, and decision-making for key business operations in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role partners closely with leaders to interpret financial results, identify trends, and provide insights that improve business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced modeling capability, and a practical approach to solving complex financial questions.

Responsibilities:

+ Partner with regional leadership to deliver financial insights that support pricing, staffing, profitability, and business decisions.

+ Analyze performance trends, forecasts, budgets, and variances to drive operational and financial improvements.

+ Advise leaders on resource allocation, compensation strategies, revenue growth, and market-driven planning.

+ Develop and manage regional budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling processes.

+ Collaborate with finance, analytics, and cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and support strategic initiatives.

+ Leverage data, predictive analytics, and financial tools to identify opportunities, risks, and profitability trends.

+ Monitor financial performance against targets and recommend corrective actions when needed.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, SOX, governance standards, and internal policies while supporting audits and risk management.

+ Identify process inefficiencies, promote automation, and implement operational improvements to increase effectiveness.

+ Facilitate financial reviews with leadership, align regional strategies with corporate goals, and support intercompany coordination.

+ Maintain documentation for audits, reporting, and governance requirements.

+ Mentor junior staff, share financial expertise, and encourage best practices and continuous improvement across the team. Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

+ Audit experience in public accounting and CPA license are required. Big 4 experience a plus.

+ Strong knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and planning processes.

+ Minimum two years of FP& A experience in a corporate environment.

+ Public company or Fortune 500 experience preferred.

+ Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple departments and provide financial guidance that supports business decisions.

+ Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, and data analysis.

+ Experience with planning and reporting platforms such as Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

+ Familiarity with automation solutions, including macros and workflow optimization.

+ Experience maintaining compliance with governance standards, controls, and corporate policies.
