You will support Apple's bottom line by applying an innovative edge to cost-saving initiatives and inventory management, bringing the same level of breakthrough analytics to our financial operations as we do to our products. Description Apple is seeking a highly motivated and innovative finance professional to join the Worldwide Operations Finance team to support Worldwide Sales & Operations Support (WWSOS). You will be an integral part of the team, partnering closely with Refurb Ops and Planning, Business Process Re-engineering, Supply Demand Management (SDM), and regional finance teams, often acting as the focal point for key interactions across the business. You will manage financial forecasting, close, and P&L responsibilities, with a strong focus on driving efficient management of Apple's Finished Goods (FG) inventory and analyzing Refurb product margins. You will play a meaningful role in supporting cost-saving initiatives and providing the financial detail needed to shape the strategy of Apple's Refurb businesses. The ideal candidate has an innovative edge and is constantly looking for opportunities to challenge limitations through breakthrough analytics. Responsibilities Drive critical cost-saving initiatives and cost per unit analytics to sustainably improve margins for Apple's Refurb businesses. Closely partner with Refurb Ops, Planning, and Supply Demand Management (SDM) to provide a clear understanding of financial performance and the cost impacts of ongoing projects. Manage the quarterly margin metrics process, calculate refurb costs, and prepare intracompany purchase price variance analysis, paying particular attention to accurate financial reporting. Provide direction to regional finance and worldwide operations teams to ensure alignment on global cost management initiatives. Be a champion of process re-engineering efforts, continuously seeking out new areas of focus to streamline operations and address emerging business issues. Interact with all levels and departments including Regional Finance teams, SDM, and Refurb Ops, etc. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years related finance/accounting experience, ideally with a focus in supply chain or manufacturing finance. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative field Strong Excel modeling skills. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills at both macro and micro levels. Preferred Qualifications Ability to work comfortably with incomplete information and deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Intrinsic desire to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and make valuable contributions Demonstrated experience managing process and system development and implementation Passion for automating and improving processes, and drive to adopt latest technology tools at our disposal Previous inventory and supply chain knowledge Previous experience within a multinational company Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
