Full Job Description Schedule:
Monday•Friday 7:00 am•5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch Job Summary The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for leading the organization's budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis functions. This role provides actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive profitability and growth. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Develop, manage, and enhance financial forecasting and budgeting processes Compare actual financial results to forecasts and budgets; investigate variances and recommend corrective actions Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and analysis to senior leadership Build, maintain, and improve financial models to support business units and strategic initiatives Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational objectives Support monthly and quarterly close processes by providing analysis and insights Provide leadership with actionable recommendations for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and revenue growth Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field Master's degree, CPA, or MBA preferred Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Phocas) Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools About Superior Product Distributors, Inc.
