Job Description
Position Summary The Finance Intern will support the Finance Department by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, data analysis, and administrative projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare finance while offering exposure to hospital operations, accounting processes, and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities Assist with preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and budget analyses. Support month-end and year-end financial activities. Review and organize financial data for accuracy and compliance. Conduct research and analyze trends to support departmental initiatives. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other finance-related projects. Collaborate with Finance team members on special projects and process improvements. Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous internship, coursework, or experience in finance, accounting, or healthcare administration. Interest in healthcare finance and hospital operations.
