Job Description
Shoes For Crews® is the global leader in slip-resistant footwear, providing innovative safety solutions that help employers reduce workplace accidents while keeping employees comfortable and protected. Since 1984, the company has served organizations across hospitality, healthcare, food service, retail, and industrial sectors. The Financial Analyst, Pricing is primarily responsible for pricing maintenance and analysis, customer rebates, profitability models, & sales and GP1 margin analysis. This position reports to the VP of FP&A, but will have regular interaction with other departments. Essential job functions to be performed:
- Pricing Maintenance and Strategy
- maintain customer pricing tables, analyze and recommend strategic pricing improvements, and audit pricing contracts.
- Customer Rebate Payments
- calculate, reconcile, and process monthly, quarterly, and annual customer rebates and allowances.
- Financial Modeling
- partner with the sales organization to model the ROI of current and prospective customers.
- Sales and GP1 analysis
- update and analyze monthly reports to identify sales and margin trends within the business.
- Discontinued Style/Sell Thru analysis
- organize and run a monthly recurring meeting to review discontinued styles and recommend price reductions on inventory turns greater than 12 months.
- Project support and ad hoc analysis
- as needed, projects may include ROI analysis, profitability models, inventory analysis, etc. Requirements/Qualifications/Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within FP&A and/or operational finance functions. Or Deal Desk expereince
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial software and systems, preferably NetSuite.
- World class organizational skills, a track record of process improvement success, and a strong desire to own and lead processes.
