Job Description
Main Duties & Responsibilities Primary Job Role Processes new customer applications for financing through Cat Finance. Utilizes Cat Finance Express to input customers credit information for review by Caterpillar. Processes equipment finance information provided by sales rep. Inputs equipment model, price, year, serial number, etc. into Finance Express, inputs finance conditions requested by customer/ sales rep (i.e. term, rate, down payment, subsidy amounts, arrears/ advance payments), linking equipment finance information to customers Cat Financial Credit Application, and submits "deal" to Cat Financial for approval via Finance Express. Notifies sales rep/ manager if applications are denied and provides explanation for denial. Notifies sales rep when deal is approved and to discuss any conditions of approval (i.e. any changes to requested finance conditions.) Generates finance documents, obtains equipment invoices. Assists in maintaining monthly spreadsheet of all deals "in progress", of all deals funded and/or "to be funded" (dates, sales rep, customer, equipment, invoice number, dollar amount), and corresponds with Cat Financial, salespeople until funding is complete. Assists with customer/ branch calls regarding account status, faxes invoice copies, and handles account details, statements, service charges, and customer disputes. Performs other duties as assigned.
