JOB SUMMARY
The Treasury Analysis acts as a vital financial steward, ensuring the organization has the necessary cash flow, managing 200+ bank accounts, and navigates the complexities of the financial landscape with accuracy and expertise.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Management Monitoring and managing the company's daily cash position, ensuring sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs, and optimizing cash management processes. This includes tasks like bank reconciliation and daily cash positioning and reporting. Banking Operations Executing payments and ensuring proper access for users. Banking Relationships Development and maintaining relationships with banking partners and optimizing cash management services. Financial Reporting and Compliance Preparing and analyzing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, SOX). Bank Reconciliations Preparing Bank Reconciliations Journal Entry Preparation Acting as the bank intermediary, supporting the Pennant organization's banking requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS
(Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Education:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or experience in accounting.
Experience:
Proven experience in treasury management or related financial roles is usually expected. Healthcare background a plus.
Financial Knowledge:
A strong understanding of financial principles, cash management, risk analysis, and financial regulations is crucial.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial software, treasury management systems (TMS), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a strong attention to detail, are vital for this role.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and banking partners.
