Senior Financial Analyst

Description Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance analysis, and operational decision‑making for its Bloomington operations. This role will partner closely with operations leadership and corporate finance to deliver insightful analysis, improve cost visibility, and support strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities + Lead monthly financial close support, including variance analysis, commentary, and management reporting + Prepare and analyze forecasts, annual budgets, and long‑range plans, partnering with operations and leadership + Analyze manufacturing and plant operations, including cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory, labor, overhead, and capacity utilization + Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track operational, financial, and productivity performance + Support margin and profitability analysis by product line, customer, and project + Perform capital expenditure (CapEx) analysis, ROI modeling, and post‑implementation reviews + Provide ad‑hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis to support pricing, sourcing, and strategic decisions + Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and financial controls + Collaborate with corporate finance, accounting, and operational teams to ensure alignment and data integrity Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA a plus) + 4-7+ years of progressive financial analysis experience + Strong understanding of costing, inventory, and operational finance + Advanced Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools strongly preferred + Proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for operational leaders + Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders + High attention to detail with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset + Experience supporting plant or multi‑site manufacturing operations + Exposure to capital‑intensive or project‑based environments + Prior experience working with hourly labor and operational cost drivers Why Join Our Client + Opportunity to partner closely with operations and leadership in a highly visible role + Exposure to end‑to‑end financial planning in a historic and growing business + Stable organization with long‑term investment in people and infrastructure Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
