They will maintain integrity of accounting & finance systems and provide information needed for timely business decisions. This position will build a strong working relationship with sales, marketing, engineering, product management, supply chain and operations teams to align strategies and support functional business goals.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Sales Data Analysis :
  • Evaluate customer and product-level sales performance by market, channel, and product to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide enhanced visibility to customer level Profit & Loss statements with actionable insights into driving pricing strategies, margin optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Customer fine, rebate and commission analysis and improvement.
Budgeting/Forecasting/Month End :
  • Manage the month end closing process utilizing approved standard work and month end checklist. Ensure all closing activities and reporting requirements are completed by the established deadlines.
  • Coordinate and execute the development of monthly financial forecasts and prepare all corporate submissions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop annual STRAT plan and operating budgets.
Manufacturing Support :
  • Support operational planning with reporting features for inventory control, production, capacity, and efficiency metrics.
  • Manage the execution of the documented cycle count process to ensure adherence to audit and process narrative controls.
Reporting :
  • Create dashboards or other reporting tools to communicate actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Gross profit variance analysis (freight, tariffs, material costs, labor and material variances).
  • Utilizes PowerBI/Tagetik/Qlik to create and maintain annual budget files and to report on monthly performance metrics to established goals.
Education/Certification Bachelor's Degree is required. Preference for Accounting or Finance. Experience Required 5-7 years overall business operations and accounting experience with 3 years of higher level management experience. Prefer experience in a manufacturing environment. Required Knowledge Strong financial and budget management skills. Demonstrated strong business acumen including ability to understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes. Ability to understand financial statements and related reporting with the expectation of identifying trends and improvement projects. Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing company serving multiple channels; retail stores, distribution, and end customer B2C, is preferred.
Skills / Abilities
Proficient computer skills working with MS Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Expert level Excel skills preferred. PowerBI experience preferred. Syteline ERP experience with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Well organized and able to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization Physical Activities and Requirements of this Position Works with a PC for hours at a time.
