Agency Finance Analyst

Job Id:
4490 At First Mid, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of discretionary short-term incentives (i.e. bonus, incentives, and/or commission). The Agency Finance Analyst assists the Agency Finance Loan Servicing Manager and the Agency Finance Senior Credit Analyst in their duties to underwrite and monitor the Agency Finance loan portfolio. Acts as liaison between supporting departments within the Bank for certain responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Organizes and prepares inventory of incoming data files from prospective or current borrowers Prepares initial data entry of financial statements and other reports into credit approval templates Prepares CIP forms and gathers CIP checklist items from borrowers Performs credit report pulls and background checks on prospective and current borrowers Prepares account forms for branch opening of deposit accounts for Agency Finance customers Prepares Loan Data Sheet for approved loans in preparation for Central Loan Processing submission Prepares Allstate Intake forms for Allstate related loans Assists in gathering preclosing documentation requirements Prepare Draw Request forms for line of credit draws and calculates the related borrowing base Requests, reviews and delivers payoff letters requested by borrowers Handles customer inquiries related to loan and deposit account activity Monitors and investigates transactional activity in restricted deposit account Monitors other revenue data in the portfolio and gathers necessary information to maintain timely data Requests and monitors collection from borrowers of post close financial statements and other required documentation Prepares data entry of financial statements and other reports in annual review templates Provide back up support for Loan Document Servicing Specialist Completes required training associated with job function Other responsibilities as assigned to assist in the underwriting and monitoring of the Agency Finance portfolio Qualifications
Education/Experience:
BA or BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related degree 4 years of relevant experience preferably within a lending or insurance environment Working knowledge of insurance industry preferred but not required
Skills:
Must be able to work with a significant amount of detailed information in an accurate, timely and confidential manner Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and support department personnel in a professional manner Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large number of data points and documentation in an efficient and organized manner Proficiency in using Word, Excel, Outlook and technical ability to learn new software Power BI knowledge a plus Ability to work in a dynamic environment and comfortable with change Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally as well as having excellent proofreading skills First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
