The Fixed Income Investment Analyst is responsible for supporting the investment team in its mandate to manage OneAmerica Financial's general account investment portfolio.
What you will do:
Monitor assigned industries and associated companies. Monitor sector specific trends to assess potential impact to the existing portfolio and develop recommendations designed to optimize risk and return. Identify new investment opportunities within the primary/secondary fixed income markets and develop and articulate a well-crafted investment thesis. Maintain coverage of assigned sectors or asset classes. Assist with the preparation of reports for various committees, boards, regulators, rating agencies, and other constituents.
What you will need:
B.S./B.A.
in Business, Economics, or Mathematics Willingness to pursue & obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation within first year or two in role Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply knowledge and previous experience in new situations. Ability to prioritize issues, tasks and analysis work to meet established turnaround times and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills that adapt to the audience
Salary Band:
04C #LI-SH1 This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team building and collaboration.
