09/13/2026 About this opportunity: Work as a temporary part-time senior level accountant in the Controller's Office What you'll do and what you'll bring:
Position Description:
The temporary Accountant and Financial Analyst will complete bank and general reconciliations as well as provide training and assist in developing training materials. Provide support in the preparation of the university's annual finance report. Complete other financial schedules. This position will work 16 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide training and assist in developing training materials Complete bank and general reconciliations Provide support in preparing year-end schedules Assist in gathering information for the audits Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial field from an accredited institution.
Minimum Experience:
At least two years of financial accounting, fund accounting, or audit experience.
Minimum Other:
Superior proficiency with
Excel:
excellent problem-solving skills; ability to communicate difficult concepts; ability to work independently as well as contribute as a member of a team; must be analytical, highly organized, and detail oriented; ability to learn new software applications.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field with an emphasis in accounting;
CPA Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of Banner systems with an emphasis on Banner Finance; experience in university or fund accounting. Position Title(s)
