In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a rapidly growing organization and help shape key aspects of the business by applying your financial expertise across a variety of functions. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the executive leadership team (President/COO) and must be comfortable operating with an entrepreneurial mindset in a dynamic environment. This includes applying your professional financial business acumen in varying ways as the business evolves. Responsibilities Serve as a strategic finance partner ("right hand") to leadership and key business stakeholders, effectively translating financial and operational trends into clear, actionable recommendations. Use a variety of system resources to create and prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports, including KPI's and dashboards, to educate, monitor and drive company results. Prepare GAAP-compliant monthly and annual financial statements for leadership and key stakeholder review. Investigate anomalies, material variances and provide succinct analysis and conclusions based on financial results. Develop and support a broad range of finance and business functions required for the success of an evolving organization, effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes including pro-forma financial statements and cash flow projections. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate sales initiatives, respective compensation models, profitability, and pricing strategies. Complete ad-hoc financial reporting requests for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with suppliers and sales executives to develop and implement sales incentive programs and total compensation models to drive profitable results for both the organization and our salesforce. Together with sales executives, develop reports and incentive programs to effectively manage inventory in a fiscally prudent fashion. Monitor and report on supplier accounts receivable, as well as supplier cooperative funds. Ensure monies are collected and utilized in ways which drive company results. Utilize external and internal data to benchmark company results at aggregate, category, and brand levels. Requirements 5+ years of professional finance/accounting experience with financial modeling required (preferably in Food, Beverage, or CPG industry) along with experience working with both Finance/Accounting and Sales Executives. BA in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting required Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Ability to present and articulate financial data effectively to key stakeholders, at varying levels of an organization. Demonstrate a high degree of ownership and initiative, proactively identifying opportunities to improve financial reporting, performance and operational efficiencies. Highest standards of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality required. Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic environment. Adaptable to change and able to manage competing demands. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Professional attitude and a strong work ethic.
