Responsibilities:
As an FP&A Analyst, you will: 1. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analyzing trends in revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and other related areas. 2. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting. 3. Aid in the production of monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management. 4. Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data, ensuring the accuracy of financial documents and reports. 5. Analyze complex financial information and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes. 6. Support the billing process by preparing, reviewing, and sending invoices. 7. Monitor A/R balances, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording. 8. Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. 9. Enhance financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management. 10. Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, and explaining processes and techniques.Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the FP&A Analyst position should possess the following: 1. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. 3. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial software applications. 4. Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. 5. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills. 6. Proficiency in financial data analysis and modeling. 7. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. 8. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. 9. Ability to handle large amounts of data, a problem-solver attitude, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. 10. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
