This person is responsible for consulting with our mid-market customers and helping them streamline their operations, reporting and systems using our Microsoft Dynamics solutions. Guiding and establishing best practices for monthly close process. Helping our customers learn how to maintain an accurate and balanced trial balance and learn how to answer financial questions and analyze the financial data is the core of this role. This person will work directly with our customers and must have strong relationship and communication skills and be comfortable leading group discussions and one-on-one meetings with higher level accounting, finance and IT personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and financial workflow. They also need to be conversant with current information technology and, more importantly, willing to learn and stay current with technology and changes in our industry. This role must have the ability to effectively solve challenging company financial, reconciliation, workflow and information/reporting problems. Responsibilities and Duties Obtaining and maintaining expert-level knowledge in business systems workflows and best practices - especially in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Helping our clients establish an efficient and accurate monthly close process as well as produce key metrics Solving business issues and helping customers utilize our solutions to their fullest potential Train end-users and help work through monthly reconciliations so they can do them successfully on their own Fostering teamwork Obtaining and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics certifications Qualifications and Skills 4-year degree in Accounting, Information Technology, Finance or equivalent; CPA or MBA is a plus, but not required 3+ years of experience in industry or consulting Experience executing monthly close and reconcile trial balance Experience with financial projects, transaction workflows and reporting Strong interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills
