POSITION DESCRIPTION
The position will perform all treasury and credit functions. Primary duties include - daily cash management for 35+ bank and investment accounts, cash applications for all Boardwalk entity receivables, daily processing of payments via checks & wires ; daily and monthly journal entries through Oracle EBS; monthly analysis of 225 treasury related accounts ; cash collections on delinquent accounts; voiding & reissuing checks, escheatment filings; refunding credit balances to gas customers; quarterly reporting to banks & rating agencies; monthly & quarterly audit requirements; Financial statement review & analysis for potential new customers & monitoring financial position existing customer base. Interaction with banks, general accounting, accounts payable, tax, payroll, contracts, commercial accounting, legal.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent computer skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to multi-task as priorities change Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
2-5 years of experience in gas industry Oracle EBS experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION
BS Degree:
Accounting or equivalent
