Role:

Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and Information Technology, translating complex business needs into scalable and effective system solutions. The Finance Business Systems Analyst Lead will own the analysis, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Finance-related business systems and processes, with a strong focus on ERP optimization and enterprise system maturity. This role combines finance and business process expertise with hands-on systems knowledge while leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Finance leaders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for system enhancements and implementations
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend best-practice business processes and system solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and optimize business processes and Epicor workflows
• Serve as the Finance functional lead for system upgrades and enhancements
• Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and post-go-live support
• Lead the redesign and ongoing governance of the company?s part-creation process
• Establish monitoring, controls, and review procedures for part creation
• Maintain detailed documentation of Finance-related system configurations and processes
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance systems, including test scenario design, execution coordination, documentation, and audit-ready tracking of results
• Support ongoing system monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with Finance leadership to develop and maintain a strategic systems roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
• Develop and maintain the Finance team?s internal knowledge site, documentation, and user resources
• Coordinate with Information Technology, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across supply chain, logistics, finance, manufacturing, and operations
• Proven experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or enterprise transformation initiatives
• Working knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP platforms
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and process discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute initiatives through completion
• Self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience serving as a finance functional lead for ERP implementations, upgrades, or enhancements
• Experience with Epicor ERP, including workflow optimization and system governance
• Experience designing and managing UAT programs and au Active Filters
