Role:

VulcanForms is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, operational performance analysis, and strategic reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and leadership to improve visibility into plant performance, product profitability, and business trends. The ideal candidate will have 3?5 years of financial or business analysis experience, strong experience working within a manufacturing ERP system, and advanced skills in Power BI, Workday Adaptive Planning, and operational reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, material costs, labor costs, burden absorption, and manufacturing variances
• Perform detailed variance analysis, including standard cost versus actual cost, forecast versus actual results, and production plan versus operational output
• Support the monthly close process through financial reporting and business performance reviews
• Build financial models to evaluate pricing decisions, capital investments, capacity utilization, and customer profitability
• Analyze manufacturing performance, including labor efficiency, scrap rates, purchase price variance, inventory turns, on-time delivery, and throughput
• Track backlog, bookings, and shipments to improve revenue visibility
• Partner with Operations leaders to identify cost savings and process improvements
• Monitor inventory valuation and excess or obsolete inventory exposure
• Support SIOP and demand planning activities with financial insights
• Extract and analyze data from Epicor ERP
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPI scorecards, and operational performance reports
• Build automated reporting solutions in Microsoft Power BI
• Support forecasting and planning processes in Workday Adaptive Planning
• Improve data integrity across item costing, bills of materials (BOMs), labor reporting, and inventory transactions
• Assist with report writing, Business Activity Queries (BAQs), and data validation in Epicor
• Perform additional finance and analytical duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3?5 years of experience in financial analysis, operational finance, or manufacturing analytics
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, PivotTables, financial modeling, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with Epicor ERP
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Workday Adaptive Planning
• SQL and database reporting experience
• Experience with BAQs, dashboard design, and ERP reporting tools
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, and operational performance metrics

Compensation:

• Annual base salary: \$89,200 to \$122,000
