Financial Analyst

Location :

Marlborough MA. This role supports the Global Services Finance team with a primary focus on month-end close activities, OpEx forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis. The position involves maintaining recurring financial reports, preparing journal entries, supporting GL mapping, and partnering with Finance and Accounting teams in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have strong GAAP knowledge, experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills including power pivots and large data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

Support month-end close activities for Global Services Finance Prepare and review journal entries including accruals and reclasses Refresh, maintain, and analyze recurring financial reports Perform OpEx forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis Maintain and update GL mappings Track forecast risks and opportunities Support PO and invoice requests Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed Assist in preparing presentation materials for leadership Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to support business operations Work independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment

Skills:

OpEx management (reporting, forecasting & variance analysis) Advanced Excel skills including power pivots and handling large datasets Oracle or similar ERP system experience Strong understanding of GAAP accounting Financial reporting and forecasting experience Journal entry preparation and reconciliation Strong collaboration and communication skills Positive attitude and adaptability Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting 2-5 years of relevant experience Experience in roles such as: Financial Analyst Financial Analyst II Accountant Senior Accountant Financial Analyst Financial Analyst II Accountant Senior Accountant
