Description:
Position Overview:
The Senior Treasury Analyst provides key operational support to vital Treasury and Profitability functions. Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer, the right candidate will oversee operation of the Bank's profitability reporting engine as well as assist with funding & liquidity, ALM, financial reporting, and strategic projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform various Treasury functions including but not limited to the following: Oversee the Bank's cash and collateral positions Preparation of quarterly ALM reporting data and supporting analyses Produce monthly reports and analyses as needed Assembly of monthly profitability reporting, business unit contribution reporting, and ad hoc analysis Prepare materials for Asset/Liability Management Committee, Deposit Pricing Committee, and other Executive/Board-level committees and working groups Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting Three to five years of treasury, FP&A, or equivalent finance experience at a bank or other financial institution required Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and communications skills. Intellectual curiosity is a must Proven understanding of financial markets and treasury concepts Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with Axiom Financial planning a plus Open-mindedness, desire to learn and grow, interest in the banking industry Preferred qualifications: Understanding of Asset Liability Management, and ALM software (Empyrean, Bancware, QRM) and hands-on experience with FP&A software (Axiom, Anaplan, Hyperion) Avidia Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Member
