Job Description:
Venture Search is partnered with a blue chip Investment Manager, who are looking for a Senior Analyst to join their Investment team, with a specific focus on VC. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of formal banking/investment experience, who are looking to focus specifically on VC.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess the performance of existing fund managers and underlying portfolio companies through ongoing analysis and diligence. Undertake analytical projects related to portfolio construction, industry trends, and organizational strategy, producing research-driven reports and investment insights as required. Develop and maintain portfolio models and analytical tools used to evaluate manager and portfolio performance, with a focus on leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance and streamline monitoring processes. Prepare presentation materials and investment analyses to support client engagement and relationship management activities. Design, customize, and integrate AI-driven technology solutions to automate data analysis, portfolio monitoring, investment evaluation, and other core business functions within the venture capital team.
Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate degree from a reputable university and a GPA of 3.6 or above. At least 1-2 years of full-time finance experience; experience in VC is preferable but is not essential. Strong interest in the VC space. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate an investment story to the team and IC. Experience working with tech, automation or AI tools.
