Job Summary:

An established and profitable biotechnology company based in the greater Boston area is searching for a Senior Analyst to join their finance team. In this role, you'll lead critical financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who will impact strategic decisions by providing forward-thinking analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans working closely with department leaders throughout the company. Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and deliver business-focused insights to guide strategic decisions. Deliver detailed reports and analysis for management and executive teams. Create financial models that support strategic initiatives and financial decisions. Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and automation while developing and managing KPIs across various business lines. Identify financial risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus). 4-6 years of FP&A experience in Biotech, Pharma, or related industry preferred. Proficiency in Excel and other planning tools is essential to be successful in this role. Strong analytical skills with proven experience in preparing reports and presenting compelling narratives for senior leadership.

Compensation for this role:

$140,000 base salary range plus bonus Comprehensive benefits package
