Key Responsibilities:

Maintain subsidiary ledgers, balance/reconcile accounts weekly, and prepare documents for cost adjustments. Review invoices, reconcile budget execution data, and prepare monthly expenditure vs. spend plan reports. Prepare budget formulation narratives, exhibits, and Q&A documents for formal budget submissions to OAR, NOAA, DOC, OMB, and Congress. Forecast future budgetary needs by performing specialized analyses on historical expenditure data. Prepare cooperative/reimbursable agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for routing and approval. Maintain official digital files ( "jackets ") documenting decision processes and funding approvals.

Required:

BS/BA in relevant fields Proven experience (> 5 years) in financial/budget analyses Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding relevant policies and regulations with respect to federal budgeting

Preferred:
