If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Financial Analysts. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking. Analyze production costs, inventory valuations, and operational expenses to identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends and insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, supply chain) to gather data and provide financial guidance. Evaluate capital expenditure requests and conduct post-implementation reviews of projects. Support the annual planning cycle and periodic reforecasting processes for manufacturing. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for financial data extraction and analysis. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data visualization and reporting. Certification in financial modeling and valuation (e.g., FMVA, CFA Level I). Exposure to cost accounting methodologies specific to manufacturing environments.
