Job Description

VENTEON and Harvard Resource Solutions are hiring a Project Financial Analyst to provide support in Dearborn, MI. Assist our client by performing financial reconciliations and analysis. You will manage the financial and material "true-up" process for a closed-loop steel supply chain.
POSITION TYPE
Full time. Onsite daily. Project to last through April 2027.
PAY:
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour based on skills/ years of experience Requirements of the
Project Financial Analyst:
College degree is nice to have. Understanding of GAAP is required.
Advanced Excel:
Use VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and large data sets to match numbers quickly. Attention to
Detail:
Spot small pricing or weight differences in steel shipments.
Supply Chain Logic:
Learn/Understand how raw materials move from purchase to third-party processing and back to the original vendor. Duties of The Project Financial Analyst You will reconcile complex steel inventory and financial data by matching raw material purchases, processing costs, and finished part sales back to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Main job is to ensure that what your company bought, paid for, and sold back to the OEM matches perfectly in data and cost by performing timely and accurate true ups with the OEM.
Key Responsibilities Data Reconciliations:
Compare raw steel purchases and payments against processed parts sold back to the OEM using Excel.
Dashboard Management:
Pull and verify shipping, receiving, and billing data directly from the OEM portal or dashboard.
Variance Tracking:
Identify and resolve cost discrepancies, missing invoices, or inventory gaps between your records and the OEM's records.
Process Reporting:
Create clear financial and inventory reports to show monthly or quarterly true-up results to management.
Cross-Functional Support:
Work with the logistics, finance, and procurement teams to fix root causes of data mismatches.
