The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling. The Financial Analyst position is a hybrid position•3 days onsite per week. This is a client direct hire position.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes. Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend evaluation, and modeling. Provide insights and recommendations based on key performance metrics. Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports. Summarize financial results and key drivers for leadership. Develop presentations and dashboards to communicate financial performance and trends. Partner with cross-functional teams to support planning and operational initiatives. Evaluate the financial impact of proposed projects and business initiatives. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities. Monitor performance against budget and forecast targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies. Collaborate with department leaders to refine forecasts and explain variances. Project future performance using historical data and key business drivers. Analyze revenue, expenses, and operational metrics to identify trends and risks. Support special financial analyses and strategic initiatives as needed. Conduct research and modeling to assist with decision-making.
Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar roles. Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills. Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools. Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
