Job Description
CFS has partnered with a local organization that is seeking a Financial Analyst following an internal promotion. This role calls for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional who can play a key part in supporting leadership through timely, accurate, and meaningful financial insights. The Financial Analyst will work closely with department managers and executive leadership to develop performance metrics, analyze financial results, and contribute to essential financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, costing, and cash flow forecasting. Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decision-making Partner with department managers to develop and monitor performance metrics Analyze variances against budget, forecast, and standard product costs Participate in the annual budget and quarterly forecast process Support monthly accounting close and financial reporting activities Develop and maintain costing rates and standard product cost Build and maintain pricing models Assist with cash flow forecasting Respond to ad hoc financial inquiries and cross-functional requests Perform ERP data mining to support analysis initiativesFinancial Analyst Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role Manufacturing industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of general accounting and standard cost accounting principles Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional relationship skills Initiative and ownership of projects and responsibilities Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data integrity validation) ERP data mining experience preferred Why Work For This Company?
