Job Description

What You Will DoThis position is responsible for:

Work closely with FP&A to meet submission requirements for actuals and forecasts, and provide comprehensive variance explanationsLead monthly actuals and forecast reporting including management reviewsConduct period to period evaluationswith full and meaning variance explanationsPrepare monthly North America

reporting for warranty accrual and spendSupport quarterly briefing book and investor relations activitiesPerform data analysis to identify opportunities to reduce warranty spendValidate and reconcile Essbase to PSAP and OneStream for actuals,key forecasts and budget to ensure reporting accuracyLoad and validate volume and warranty ratesused for actuals and forecast in EssbaseController of Warranty Essbase cube data by maintaining hierarchy and administering access for all warranty standard rate databy carline and model yearResponsible for US Parts Mark Upcalculation and analysisMaintain SOX related documentation and assist in internal and external audit requestsWhat You Will LearnForecasting techniques and actual results reportingDevelop relationships with various groups including FP&A, Quality Operations and Sales & Marketing FinanceUnderstanding of Warranty practices and policiesRole Will Prepare You ForFuture opportunities in roles requiring strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial control expertise Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related degreeMinimum of 8 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, or 7 years with a related Master's DegreeHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPointStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levelsProven ability to project manage a cross functional team through multiple tasks/assignments with relatively short deadlinesDemonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships across multiple organizationsWorking knowledge of accounting principlesPreferred QualificationsMBA or Master's degree in Finance or AccountingPrevious experience in corporate consolidations, reporting, FP&A or accountingPrevious experience with forecasting and the monthly close processWhat You Will DoThis position is responsible for:
