Departmental Analyst 9-P11 Position serves as an analyst supporting various functions of the Analytics, LTC Finance & Reimbursement Policy Section within the Actuarial Bureau. Identifies, accesses and works with a wide range of program and financial data. Assists with coordination of projects, conducts analysis and does research on eligibility, service utilization, and rate development for various provider types including Long-Term Care Providers. Conducts analysis to support development and monitoring of the Medicaid budget. Performs analyses to estimate the programmatic and fiscal impact of policy changes or proposed policy changes. Experience for Departmental Analyst 9-P11 Departmental Analyst 9 No specific type or amount is required. Departmental Analyst 10 One year of professional experience. Departmental Analyst P11 Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
The office location for this position is at 400 S Pine Street , Lansing, MI, however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office). Selected candidates who have been approved to work hybrid must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview. Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including: A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions. A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
