Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst Location:
CityScape What you'll do: As a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst you'll take an active role in financial planning, budgeting and strategic analysis. You'll provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and help guide decision making. Lead the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning. Analyze business performance, key drivers, and financial trends to provide actionable insights to senior leaders, perform ad hoc financial analysis, evaluation investment opportunities, assist in capital planning / risk assessments, and support special projects as needed. Support departmental budgeting and expense management efforts. Collaborate with business units to improve financial processes and efficiencies. What you'll need: 3+ years of related experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Finance (GL Mgmt., Public Reporting, Analysis) or similar field. Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred. Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services. Intermediate knowledge of AI tools, including Copilot, Claude, Gemini, with some skills in implementing tools for automation and streamlining of processes. Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH, etc. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial planning and analysis concepts, financial reporting and disclosure concepts. Presentation of information and reports. Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills. Certified Public Accountant preferred. Chartered Financial Analysts preferred.
