Pontiac MI area (Hybrid Schedule - 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) Join a Growing Corporate Finance Team and Help Shape Strategic Decision-Making Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join its corporate finance team in the Pontiac MI area. This opportunity comes at an exciting time as the finance organization continues to strengthen its planning, reporting, and analytical capabilities under new leadership. The position offers broad exposure across the business, visibility to senior executives, and the ability to directly influence financial planning and performance management efforts across a global manufacturing organization. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working with large datasets, identifying meaningful business trends, and helping leadership make informed decisions. You'll collaborate with finance and operational teams throughout the organization while supporting key planning cycles, financial reporting initiatives, and strategic projects. Key Responsibilities Partner with finance leaders across multiple regions and business units to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities Build and refine financial models that evaluate business performance, future scenarios, and operational trends Produce executive-level reporting that highlights financial results, key performance indicators, emerging risks, and growth opportunities Monitor organizational performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying drivers behind financial variances Assist leadership with long-range planning initiatives and enterprise-wide financial analyses Support cash flow planning efforts and provide insights into working capital performance Improve reporting efficiency through automation, dashboard development, and enhanced analytics capabilities Consolidate financial information from multiple sources to create a clear and accurate view of overall business performance Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate assumptions related to volume, cost, pricing, and other operational factors Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives involving planning tools, reporting systems, and financial workflows Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives that support business objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance function Background supporting manufacturing operations or manufacturing-focused organizations Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities Why This Opportunity Stands Out Opportunity created through internal advancement rather than turnover Work closely with a newly established FP&A leadership team focused on building scalable finance processes Significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic business initiatives Stable, growth-oriented manufacturing organization with global operations Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development and career progression Hybrid work arrangement that provides flexibility while maintaining strong team engagement Titles Encouraged to Apply Senior FP&A Analyst Corporate Finance Analyst Financial Planning Analyst Lead Financial Analyst Senior Business Analyst -
