SUMMARY We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our Strategic Sourcing Finance team who will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and control, by performing the following duties:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide finance support to the Strategic Sourcing organization, including building relationships with key business partners and supporting strategic business initiatives. Analyze and leverage understanding of market prices of commodities, supplier pricing changes, and impacts of a changing global supply chain to advise finance and business partner leaders. Responsible for complex financial analyses and reports on material cost, purchase price variances, and cost savings projects. Develop period-end financial insights to drive improved business performance and generate insights to aid business management and decision making. Prepare analyses in support of the organization's annual budget process, material cost trends and outlooks, or statistical reporting, including journal entries and reconciliations. May provide coaching and direction to less experienced analystsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or other related area; CPA or CMA preferred, 7+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in financial analysis. Experience in accounting is preferred.Technical Proficiency:
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.Analytical & Operational Skills:
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, with experience in analyzing business metrics such as material cost structures, expense management, etc.Communication & Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial insights to both financial and non-financial audiences; proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.Initiative & Adaptability:
Self-starter who proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively manages multiple priorities. Strong oral and written communication skillsCOMPENSATION
