Lead reporting and budget:
Create specific portions of monthly forecasts, annual operating budget, and 3-year business plan including relevant/critical analysis and documentation of major assumptions/variances Manage financial accuracy: Support key functional areas such as Marketing, Retail Facilities, Store Operations, Merchandising, Logistics by partnering with their leadership to agree on overall spend and at the account level, drive performance by completing analyses to identify areas of opportunities, and ensure alignment between functional area, Accounting, and finance Partner with
Retail Accounting:
Work cross-functionally during month-end close process to understand variances between budget and forecast to determine impact on future financial forecasts Lead meetings with division leadership: Work to identify variance, explaining situation, and proposing solutions to mitigate future spend Project P&L impact: Review of key balance sheet accounts (rewards reserve, LIFO reserve, etc.) given fluctuations in business performance Manage gift card third party vendors: Coordinate gift card process engaging internal and external parties to ensure correct art, card count, and distribution to stores Establish key dashboards: Visualize key performance metrics ensuring business performance aligns with expectations and work with business partners to develop action plan when performance is off track Ad-hoc analyses: Assure accurate and timely completion of critical ad-hoc analyses as requested by VP-Finance and other business partners Perks you will enjoy!

Bachelor of Science Accounting or Finance required 3+ years of business partnering and FP&A experience Significant accounting or financial analysis experience Experience in budgeting & forecasting Ability to work with a variety of business functions and levels in an organization Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, and ability to link spreadsheets) Enterprise system experience, particularly related to business planning and analysis (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, SACp etc.) preferred Quantitative analysis skills a plus Caleres is an Equal Opportunity Employer by choice.
