Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Research, analyze and prepare investment reports as key member of team responsible for managing $6.5 billion of insurance and pension assets. Ensure accuracy of transaction and reporting data on one or more asset classes, including fixed income, public equity and alternative investments. Participate in monitoring internally managed assets and external managers across asset classes. Active participant in prospective research and diligence of new investment opportunities. Prepare various reports and analyses for presentation to Investment Committee. Develop analytical reports, maintain accuracy of various files and records systems related to the Companies' portfolios. Suggest monitoring process improvements and proactively seek to implement them. Execute approved purchase and sale transactions. Prepare information and reports for regulators, auditors and other internal departments as required. Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Credit Bureau Report may be ordered on final candidates.
What We're Looking For:
Intellectual curiosity and passion for institutional asset management required. BA or BS in Analytical field required. Progress toward MBA, CFA and/or other relevant investment certification. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners. Knowledge of various institutional asset classes. Exposure or expertise of working with a specific asset class, such as private equity or public fixed income. 3-5 years of relevant investment experience typically required. Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Advanced knowledge of financial spreadsheet functionality. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple detailed tasks simultaneously with high degrees of precision. Experience with investment management accounting and information software (i.e., Clearwater, Bloomberg).
