Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a manufacturing client's core financial operations. This role is heavily focused on cash management, working capital optimization, and financial analysis , with strong visibility into daily cash positioning and overall liquidity. This individual will play a key role in analyzing financial data, improving cash efficiency, and supporting critical month-end processes, while also partnering cross-functionally to drive better financial decision-making. Job Summary Manage daily cash positioning across multiple bank accounts, ensuring proper funding levels Facilitate transfers between operating and investment accounts and monitor debt obligations Perform balance sheet analysis , cash flow tracking, and working capital reporting Support accounts payable processes, including weekly vendor payments Analyze working capital trends across customers, vendors, and inventory to identify risks and opportunities Calculate and evaluate cash conversion cycles and overall liquidity performance Extract data from ERP systems (SAP, Epicor) and build reports, models, and dashboards in Excel Support month-end close activities while handling ad hoc financial analysis (e.g., payment trends, cash drivers) Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in public accounting, financial analysis, or accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration Working knowledge of cash management and banking operations Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Why This Role Strong exposure to cash flow and liquidity strategy -high-impact financial work Opportunity to influence working capital optimization across the business Blend of recurring financial processes + ad hoc analytical work (not just routine accounting) Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel modeling Cross-functional role with visibility into operations, vendors, and customer payment behavior Great fit for someone looking to grow from accounting into a more analytical finance role
