Job Description Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance based in Kinston, NC. Performs financial analysis of various administration projects and business performance. Plans and supports financial analysis assignments, recommends and implements changes in analysis and budgetary methods and procedures. Analyzes and interprets financial data. Your Challenges:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
70% Business partner to functional leader(s) within the Kinston site providing guidance through data analysis of actual spend and forecasted spend. Reviews expenses and prepares cost reports. Analyzes cost variances that exceed budget. Questions expense variances and alerts the controllers when costs exceed budget. Develop, implement, and update financial reporting to meet current business needs and to provide the business with timely, accurate and meaningful information. Implements continuous improvement of financial reporting and data. Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual reports and ensure information is accurate. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Identifies relevant concerns, factors and patterns to formulate logical and objective conclusions. Responsible for adherence to Capex financial process and procedure implementation. Create and monitor finance KPI for expenses. Extracts general ledger and balance sheet information; compiles asset reports. Maintains and reconciles financial data for all metrics reports and understands calculations and relationship to financial data. Responsible for forecasting of functional operational expense, unit cost, balance sheet accounts, cash flow of specific work packages.
Month End Close and Audit:
20% Supports accounting at each month end close process. Reconciles actuals to ensure accuracy at close. Responsible for adherence to financial processes and procedures. Responsible for assisting accounting and controlling in on site audits. Responsible for purchase order validations when in line with approved budgets. Other Duties as

Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor degree in Account, Finance, Economics, or any relevant degree 2-5 years of finance and/or accounting experience Ability to independently develop, communicate and make recommendations to business partners Ability to ascertain and explain variances for a variety of KPI's Strong understanding of income statement and balance sheet, preferred in a manufacturing industry Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak effectively and easily with both internal senior executives and employees. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or Google suite
