Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst Position Type:

Dover, NJ Salary:
$95,000-$115,000/annually PrideStaff Financial is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Financial Analyst on behalf of a growing client. This dynamic role combines accounting, financial analysis, and business intelligence to support the organization's expanding finance function. The ideal candidate will support month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting while helping build and enhance Power BI reporting solutions and analytics capabilities. You will play a key role in improving processes, automating reporting, and developing scalable financial infrastructure to support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Close Support:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of all financial data.
Forecasting & Modeling:
Prepare forecasts, budgets, financial models, and performance analyses to support strategic business planning and executive decision-making.
Stakeholder Reporting :
Prepare and deliver clear financial and operational reporting for management, the parent company, lenders, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Business Intelligence:
Build, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards, analytics, and reporting solutions, primarily utilizing Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
Process Improvement:
Partner with finance leadership to develop scalable processes and analytics capabilities. Drive automation initiatives across financial reporting, accounting, and ERP-based transactional processes to enhance efficiency, data quality, and internal controls.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Designation :
CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional designation is highly preferred.
Experience :
4+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, business analytics, or related corporate finance roles.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Accounting Standards:
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and complex financial analysis.
Technical Systems :
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Experience with modern ERP systems is required; experience with Microsoft Business Central is a major plus.
Communication :
Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights.
