  • $28/hr
Work Schedule :
Monday
  • Friday:
    Three days: 8am
  • 5pm, two days: 11am
  • 8 pm Occasional Saturday coverage of 8am
  • 5pm One weekday off in lieu of working Saturday About the Role We're looking for a detail-driven and compliance-focused Financial Aid Compliance & Processing Analyst (also known as Financial Aid Officer) to support financial aid operations across our campuses.
In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring students receive accurate, timely aid while maintaining strict adherence to federal and institutional regulations. If you enjoy working at the intersection of data, compliance, and student impact , this is a role where your work directly supports student success. What You'll Do Package and process student financial aid (Title IV and non-Title IV), including verification, eligibility review, and disbursement approvals Reconcile student-level disbursement data with federal systems to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct audits and quality checks to maintain timely and accurate processing across all financial aid functions Support program reviews and audits, including preparing documentation and responses Stay current on regulatory guidance from the U.S. Department of Education and ensure adherence to all applicable standards Uphold the Financial Aid Code of Conduct and maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting bodies Provide regular updates to leadership, identify issues, and proactively drive resolution Collaborate with internal teams while managing individual responsibilities effectively What You Bring Education High school diploma or GED required College coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent financial aid experience) Experience & Skills Experience processing financial aid, including familiarity with financial aid systems and web-based modules Strong understanding of compliance in a regulated environment (proprietary education or similar industry preferred) Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability Self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint); CampusNexus experience is a plus Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed Why This Role Matters Your work ensures students receive the financial support they need.
