Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Intern to join our New York office with the hopes of converting the Intern into a full-time Analyst before the end of the calendar year. Ideal candidates graduated in May 2025, December 2025 or May 2026. The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of full-time IB Analyst experience or a minimum of two deal-facing, investment banking internships and possess a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation, transaction execution, and marketing material development. The Intern will play a critical role in leading analytical workstreams, managing junior team members, coordinating transaction processes, and supporting senior bankers in client-facing situations. Candidates should be capable of independently managing substantial portions of live M&A and capital raising engagements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and client service. Key Responsibilities Transaction Execution Lead execution workstreams across sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A, debt placements, and equity capital raises Manage day-to-day transaction processes and coordinate activities among clients, buyers, investors, attorneys, accountants, and other advisors Support due diligence, management presentations, data room management, and transaction negotiations Track transaction milestones and proactively identify and resolve execution issues Financial Analysis & Valuation Build, review, and maintain sophisticated financial models Three-statement operating models Discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses Comparable company analyses Precedent transaction analyses LBO analyses Accretion/dilution and merger models Debt capacity and capital structure analyses Analyze historical and projected financial performance and identify key value drivers Develop valuation perspectives and transaction recommendations for clients Marketing Materials Independently prepare and oversee the creation of: Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs) Management presentations Teasers and executive summaries Investor presentations Pitch books Buyer and investor target lists Ensure all client-facing materials meet the firm's standards for quality, accuracy, and professionalism Required Qualifications Minimum of two investment banking internships at an investment bank within the United States with deal facing experience ideally within a generalist coverage environment. Available to work full-time hours, in-office, in New York City Demonstrated experience executing M&A and/or capital raising transactions from initiation through closing Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation methodologies Preferred Qualifications Experience advising founder-owned, family-owned, or entrepreneur-led businesses Exposure to lower middle market and middle market transactions Experience mentoring Analysts and reviewing junior team work product Familiarity with Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, Bloomberg, and other financial databases CPA, CFA, or progress toward professional designation is a plus but not What We Offer This internship is designed to be a recruitment tool to convert the intern to full-time Analyst within 100 days Competitive base salary commensurate with market
