Overview This role supports the Loan Trading Desk and is responsible for the execution, control, and settlement of loan trades . The position is highly operational, with a strong focus on trade processing, reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams and external providers. Core Responsibilities Trade Execution & Booking Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of loan trades (trade date to settlement) Create and process trades in ClearPar Book transactions in Loan IQ (deals, facilities, positions) Settlement & Cash Management Coordinate settlement with Back Office and counterparties Validate and release payments Ensure all trade-related cash flows are accurate and timely Reconciliation & Monitoring Track unsettled trades and follow up until completion Perform daily reconciliations (cash, positions, trades) Investigate and resolve discrepancies Outsourcing Oversight Supervise external provider ( Alter Domus ) Validate data accuracy and ensure tasks are properly executed Ensure compliance with agreed processes and SLAs Issue Management Identify and escalate trade breaks or operational issues Work with stakeholders to resolve issues before settlement Reporting & Process Improvement Produce reports on trade status and operational metrics Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency Profile Experience 3+ years in Loan Trading Operations / Middle Office / Settlements Skills Strong knowledge of loan trading lifecycle and settlement processes Hands-on experience with ClearPar and Loan IQ Solid Excel skills (reconciliation, tracking) Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Education Degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
