Job Description

The position is responsible for the successful processing, balancing and reporting of inter-company and retrocessional insurance/ reinsurance business. Position is responsible for the recording and clearing of accounts payable and receivable balances and the proper application of cash disbursements and receipts to ensure compliance with IFRS 17 requirements. Responsibilities Process assigned inter- company and retrocessional insurance/ reinsurance activity. Record and clear accounts payable and receivable balances as well as the proper application of cash disbursements and receipts to ensure compliance with IFRS 17 requirements. Process payment transactions (incoming and outgoing) in accordance with contract terms. Research and reconcile accounting matters related to statements of account. Communicate and work closely with other business units across the division and the company as well as affiliated business partners. Participate in quarter close processes. Participate as needed on special projects. Qualifications Successful candidates will possess the following skills/capabilities: Bookkeeping and/or accounting experience. Associate or bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics or equivalent experience. Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, relationship building, and teamwork. Strong attention to detail, time management, and decision-making skills. Solid math and analytic skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications. Working knowledge of Excel required. The Company is open to considering candidates in Princeton, NJ. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Princeton location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $64,200- $88,300 plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Princeton, NJ. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
