Job Description
Our client, a growing construction company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in an in-office role. This position is ideal for an analytical finance professional who can support strategic decision-making through strong financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. Construction industry experience is preferred but not required, and experience with WIP reporting is strongly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analysesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning processesDevelop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and operational planningAnalyze project and company performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunitiesAssist with WIP reporting and project-based financial analysisPartner with leadership and operations teams to provide actionable financial insightsCreate and improve dashboards, reporting tools, and ad hoc analysisSupport month-end close and assist with management reporting as neededUse advanced Excel tools and data modeling techniques to streamline reporting and improve analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferredConstruction experience preferred but not requiredWIP reporting experience strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills requiredStrong data modeling experience requiredExperience with Claude AI is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentFor immediate consideration regarding the Senior Financial Analyst position, please send your resume to Molly Helfer Waldman.
